Notions\u00a0of\u00a0memory, fragility, and\u00a0repair run\u00a0through my\u00a0entire practice. Across\u00a0different media, I\u00a0am\u00a0interested in\u00a0what persists after a\u00a0rupture \u2014 a\u00a0fracture, a\u00a0fissure, a\u00a0loss \u2014 and\u00a0its\u00a0resonances within us. These\u00a0individual and\u00a0collective fault lines can\u00a0take the\u00a0form of\u00a0the\u00a0memory of\u00a0conflict, of\u00a0collective loss, or\u00a0of\u00a0ecological fragility. I\u00a0see\u00a0rupture as\u00a0a\u00a0starting point for\u00a0questioning processes of\u00a0recomposition and\u00a0reconstruction.<\/p>\n\t\n\t\n\t<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u00a0find these processes of\u00a0recomposition again in\u00a0my\u00a0visual language, shaped by\u00a0my\u00a0background in\u00a0fashion design and\u00a0sewing. Working\u00a0with textiles, observing how\u00a0a\u00a0garment is\u00a0constructed around the\u00a0body \u2014 assembling, sewing, and\u00a0mending \u2014 are\u00a0foundational gestures that shaped my\u00a0early creative practice and\u00a0that echo in\u00a0my\u00a0artistic work today. Fragmentation,\u00a0juxtaposition, layering, and\u00a0the\u00a0interplay of\u00a0textures become a\u00a0language that is\u00a0both formal and\u00a0symbolic, one\u00a0that I\u00a0push further in\u00a0my\u00a0mosaic practice.<\/p>\n\t\n\t\n\t<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For\u00a0several years now, my\u00a0practice has\u00a0brought installation, mosaic, and\u00a0painting into dialogue within a\u00a0conceptual approach in\u00a0which the\u00a0work becomes an\u00a0experience, unfolding through the\u00a0creative process, the\u00a0space, and\u00a0the\u00a0relationship with the\u00a0viewer. My\u00a0practice draws on\u00a0traditional mosaic craftsmanship while engaging with contemporary research, blending classic materials with repurposed or\u00a0upcycled pieces. In\u00a0certain recent works, visible repair, inspired by\u00a0kintsugi, becomes a\u00a0way\u00a0of\u00a0bringing to\u00a0light the\u00a0traces of\u00a0rupture and\u00a0their evolution. I\u00a0am\u00a0also interested in\u00a0repurposing forms, objects, and\u00a0supports, transforming them into spaces of\u00a0memory and\u00a0reflection. This\u00a0work of\u00a0repurposing gives rise to\u00a0a\u00a0different narrative, where the\u00a0original form, once functional, becomes a\u00a0bearer of\u00a0care, loss, and\u00a0fragility.<\/p>\n\t\n\t\n\t<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My\u00a0work also engages with public space through urban interventions, where mosaic becomes a\u00a0gesture of\u00a0repair.
