A\u00a0graduate in\u00a0Fine Arts and\u00a0Art\u00a0History from the\u00a0Universit\u00e9 du\u00a0Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0\u00a0Montr\u00e9al, she\u00a0has\u00a0also deepened her\u00a0mosaic practice through various courses and\u00a0workshops in\u00a0Montreal and\u00a0in\u00a0Paray-le-Monial, France. She\u00a0also holds a\u00a0diploma in\u00a0fashion design from the\u00a0R. Robinson\u00a0Fashion Design Academy in\u00a0Ottawa, Ontario. Her\u00a0current work brings together mosaic, installation, painting, and\u00a0urban interventions in\u00a0an\u00a0artistic approach where material engages in\u00a0dialogue with contemporary social and\u00a0ecological issues.<\/p>\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She\u00a0has\u00a0taken part in\u00a0creating collaborative mosaic works, both in\u00a0Quebec and\u00a0in\u00a0Europe, and\u00a0her\u00a0work has\u00a0been shown in\u00a0solo and\u00a0group exhibitions in\u00a0Canada and\u00a0internationally, notably in\u00a0a\u00a0group exhibition at\u00a0the\u00a0University of\u00a0Fine Art, Buenos Aires, and\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0Maison de\u00a0la\u00a0mosa\u00efque contemporaine in\u00a0Paray-le-Monial, France. Committed\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0transmission of\u00a0knowledge, she\u00a0has\u00a0spent several years leading cultural outreach activities that promote accessibility to\u00a0art\u00a0and\u00a0civic participation.<\/p>\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A\u00a0recipient of\u00a0creation grants from the\u00a0Conseil des\u00a0arts et\u00a0des\u00a0lettres du\u00a0Qu\u00e9bec and\u00a0the\u00a0City of\u00a0Boucherville, Liliane Keeler is\u00a0a\u00a0professional member of\u00a0the\u00a0Regroupement des\u00a0artistes en\u00a0arts visuels du\u00a0Qu\u00e9bec and\u00a0the\u00a0International Association of\u00a0Contemporary Mosaicists.
